What a trip down to Orlando! Tech won big time 51-14 over Syracuse. That is a MAJOR win over a quality team. We scored more points by halftime (35) then any complete game all season. It was awesome. We went down with one of my dad's friends, and that friend provided a place to stay at one of his friends from grade school.

The funny thing was this guy's house we stayed at had thousands of Mickey collectables. My dad sad it was "like a sickness" almost. The guy had bought Disney items from all over the world, and lots of large, and one of a kind items. He has never sold a single item, and every shelf, counter top was covered with more items. Even the shelf in the shower had several Mickeys on it. Wow. The guy was extremely nice, and was a very generous host.

I can't believe Christmas is almost here. I have a couple more gifts to buy... I must go!

Chrissy and I just got back last night from a fun ski trip out to Park City, Utah. They had 16 inches of snow on a single day a week before we arrived, but nothing since then. They had the Winter Olympics there in 2002, so they have a bunch of resorts. We had high expectations from that, and from being at Whistler last December.

We had a great time, but it was a little bit of a let down. They had a great base, but the no new snow made it icy. Also it seemed like all their runs were easier than other slopes. Like a black slope (advanced) in Park City was groomed, and was comparable to blue slopes in Colorado. I did go down a couple of double black diamonds that were pretty steep. The look tough when looking over the edge, but they ended up being fine.

We stayed up late for the Tech-Gonzaga game which was dissappointing. Gonzaga did play a great game, and Tech just looked so-so. Our defensive intensity wasn't there. I bet the fact that the game was at 12:30 ET did have an effect on our players.

My dad and I are heading down to Orlando for our annual Father-Son Tech road trip. His father and him went down to the Gator Bowl in Florida back in the day, so it is a tradition...
