Chrissy gave me the strategy board game Diplomacy which you can see is rated highly by just about everyone. There is no random factor in the game other than the other players decisions. No dice. And your deals and planning with other players is key. I have heard a lot of talk about it, and I'm interested in playing it. Apparently it is best with 7 players - so perhaps I can play with some of you out there sometime.

Also, I bought an awesome new computer game Rome: Total War. It is great, but after I got through the demo level, my laptop croaked. Apparently the laptop video card, although meeting specifications, emulates some of the 3D video stuff and so it is incredibly slow. Ie a 25 minute wait everytime I press the "End Turn" button. Chrissy's computer only has a 32 MB video card, and I need at least a 64 MB card. So I'm now looking at those on ebay.

I am also still looking at newer cars... particularly a 2001 or 2002 version of my current car. There's some pretty sweet ones out there. I also need to buy a new phone - my old one is acting funny...

Tech beat Clemson today and is 8-8 in the ACC, and we have locked up our NCAA bid. I was actually feeling a bit emotional watchin the five seniors being introduced for the last time in AMC. Luke, BJ, McHenry, Will the thrill, and Ish. Possibly the best combined Senior class ever in Tech basketball. Unfortunately, Jarrett Jack will probably leave for the NBA with all those great guys going - but who knows. I saw his mom after the game, and she was talking with all the fans. I simply told her, "I hope to see you next season" which made the group of fans around her laugh.

I am so pumped for the ACC tourney and March Madness. It is truly the most exciting sports time of the year.
