Today we depart for South America. It feels even more exotic reading the state department website with all the travel warnings. My favorite, was to only cross the Peru/Ecuador border (which we will be doing) at official checkpoints. They are still removing mines from the border conflict that was resolved in 1998. That freaked Chrissy out a bit.

I have had some good times in the past few months. I went and played paintball with some coworkers one weekend, had a good time with friends, and just had some relaxing times. I'll have to update some of it when I return.

The few sad items, when I return Kent will be moved back to Atlanta. It has been great having him so close by. We are able to dork out and watch movies, play Xbox and board games, etc.

Well I have to go get ready to leave. It should be an awesome trip. I'll get some photos, but won't post them here. I still don't like having too personal information posted on blogs or the web in general... :-)
