Went to bed way early last night, so I got up early this morning. I'm pretty excited about GT vs. VT. Some are saying this is the biggest Tech game in the past decade. Pretty exciting, and Reggie is "probable" to play "questionable" to start. I think we'll need him against #4 VT at their place. VT is a 10 point favorite, but we always play better as underdogs.

Looks like I will have a week in GA before going back on the road for business, so that should be nice.

Rita just hit Texas - Sarah and Liz - BE CAREFUL!!!

I'm in Orlando today for a three day training session. GT had a nice win over UConn yesterday, despite Reggie Ball out of the game with viral meningitis. Scary. But our backup, redshirt freshman QB Taylor Bennett played fine - no interceptions, and completed about one pass in three. The no interceptions was key though. I hope Reggie is better for VT, but it seems unlikely.

Played Civilization with Kent and Carter. I took over one of Carter's cities very early in the game (he left a valuable city totally unguarded right next to my military units), and so he spent the rest of the game trying to attack me. Yawn. So Kent won, since he wasn't fighting anyone. I came in last - oh well.

So training in Orlando, then hopefully a couple of days working from home. We shall see.

What a game! It has been about 20 years since I have been to Jordan-Hare stadium. I was a kid watching Tech-Auburn in one of the last times they played that century. Last night was awesome. We didn't get back until 3:45 am, but Chrissy said it was definitely worth it.

We had flashbacks to when we went up for the Clemson game last year. We sat way in the upper deck overlooking the end zone, the stadium was filled with orange colored fans cheering the Tigers. It was a night game and was televised. But this time Tech looked dominant. I think the score was closer than the game actually was, because Auburn's two touchdowns were on missed tackles on big plays.

I am so pumped, and totally in to football season. Bring on UNC!

A nice day off.

The company gave me a nice day off today. A four day weekend is pretty sweet. So I have been relaxing.

My flight was on time last night for the first time in 9 weeks, but that happened because I promised to pick up one of Sarah's friends from England at the airport. So I had to wait 90 minutes in the ATL airport. But it was fine. Better than Sarah driving with the high gas prices.

I am getting excited about Tech-Auburn, and I'm catching up on all the pre-game reading. So back to that...
